How it works
A launch has three phases.
Phase 1: deposit
The launch page uploads your logo and asks the keeper for a quote. You pay one deposit in SOL on Solana from your Solana wallet, with a reference in a memo. The deposit covers:
- the pump.fun creation, about 0.03 SOL, paid by the keeper,
- the Pons launch fee, 0.0005 ETH, paid by the keeper and converted to SOL at the current rate,
- the Robinhood Chain gas, about 0.0005 ETH, converted the same way,
- the BNB Chain gas for the Flap launch, budgeted at 0.002 BNB, converted the same way,
- a small margin, 0.04 SOL,
- and, only if you ask for them, your dev buys.
The total with no dev buy is about 0.11 SOL at today's rates, the fees and nothing else. Flap itself charges no launch fee. A dev buy is your own money and your own choice: you type an amount in SOL for each chain you want, and the deposit grows by exactly that (plus 0.0046 SOL of token account rent on pump.fun).
Phase 2: launch
The page gives the keeper the transaction signature. The keeper reads the transaction on Solana, checks it and runs the pipeline, in this order:
- pump.fun, on Solana:
create_v2creates the coin from the keeper wallet and, if you asked for a dev buy, buys it in the same transaction. The tokens are then sent to your Solana wallet. - Pons, on Robinhood Chain:
PivotLauncher.launchcreates the coin with the same name, ticker and logo, and a dedicatedPivotVaultas the creator fee recipient. A dev buy is made on the curve in the same transaction and its tokens go to your EVM address. - Flap, on BNB Chain:
PivotFlapLauncher.launchcreates a Flap Tax Token V3 with the same name, ticker and logo, buy and sell tax equal to your creator fee, and a dedicatedPivotFlapSplitas the tax beneficiary. A dev buy goes through the Portal in the same transaction and its tokens go to your EVM address. - Fee sharing on pump.fun: the creator fees are split between your wallet and Pivot, once.
- The coin is registered and the three token addresses are shown to you.
Phase 3: after the launch
The three coins live their own life. Pivot does not trade them. Creator fees accumulate on the three chains, and you claim yours:
- pump.fun: from pump.fun, with your own wallet.
- Pons: the vault splits them between your EVM address, if you gave one, and Pivot.
split()is public. - Flap: the splitter pulls the tax from Flap and splits it the same way.
harvest()is public.
Why the prices differ
The three curves open at different values (about $3.2K on pump.fun, $4.3K on Pons and $4.1K on Flap at today's rates), use different assets (SOL, ETH, BNB) and take different fees. Each side then follows its own buyers. Nothing in Pivot ties them together.
