FAQ

What does Pivot do?

It launches one coin on pump.fun (Solana), Pons (Robinhood Chain) and Flap (BNB Chain) at the same time, from one wallet and one deposit in SOL, with the same name, ticker and logo.

Does Pivot keep the prices equal?

No. After the launch the three coins are independent and Pivot does not trade them. The curves open at different values and follow their own buyers.

Can I buy my own coin at launch?

Yes, that is the dev buy. Under Dev buy on the launch page, type an amount in SOL for each chain where you want one. It is made in the same transaction as the launch, so nobody gets in before you, and the tokens go to your wallets. The deposit is then the fees plus exactly what you typed. Leave it empty and the deposit is the fees only. A dev buy on Pons or Flap needs your EVM address, because that is where the tokens are sent.

Why is the lowest creator fee 1 %?

Because Flap does not accept a tax below 1 % on a tax token (tested on the real Portal), and Pivot uses the same fee on Pons and on Flap.

What does a launch cost?

About 0.11 SOL, plus the dev buy if you make one: the pump.fun creation, the Pons launch fee, the gas of Robinhood Chain and BNB Chain and a small margin. Pivot charges no separate fee. It earns half of the pump.fun creator fees and the part of the Pons creator tax and of the Flap tax that is not paid to you.

Do I need ETH or BNB?

No. The deposit is in SOL and covers the Pons and Flap fees too: the keeper holds a small float of ETH and BNB and your deposit repays it. Connect an EVM wallet only if you want your share of the Pons and Flap creator fees paid to an address of yours.

Do I have to connect a wallet?

Yes, a Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare or Backpack): it pays the deposit and the Launch button stays disabled without it. An EVM wallet is optional.

Who gets the creator fees?

On pump.fun, you and Pivot, 50 % each, locked on-chain after one call. On Pons and on Flap, a contract of the coin splits them between your EVM address (at most 50 %) and Pivot. With no address given, Pivot gets all of them. See fees.

What if it fails halfway?

If pump.fun fails, you are refunded in full. If Pons or Flap fails after pump.fun, the coin stays on the chains already done and you are refunded minus the costs already spent. See the launch.

What is $PIVOT?

The pad's own coin. Its chain, launchpad and contract address are to be announced. See the token page.

Has it been audited?

Not yet. The Robinhood Chain and BNB Chain contracts are tested on forks of the real Pons and the real Flap and the Solana transactions are simulated on live state. See status and test results.

How do I check your numbers?

Read the constants and the contract back from the chains, see verify on-chain.
